Join a Committee

The day-to-day workings of Component 1 rely on committees composed of members like you! We are always looking for interested members to use their skills to work towards our shared goals.

  • The Social committee plans events for members to build community and establish connections. If you are interested in getting involved, contact the Component 1 Chair (comp1chair@cupe2278.ca). Watch the calendar for upcoming social events!

  • The FAC is an elected committee that administers the three C1 funds (health/wellbeing/hardship, parental leave, and childcare).

  • The Grievance Committee is an elected committee that reviews grievances that impact the membership, and makes recommendations to stewards, the executive, and the advocate.
