All members are automatically issued a health rebate cheque. These cheques are delivered in late spring to the department for which you were a TA (note: this may be different from the department in which you are enrolled as a student).
You are entitled to one cheque per year, regardless of the number of TAships held or departments worked for. Please deposit or cash your cheque as soon as you receive it. If you lose, damage, or fail to collect/cash a cheque within 6 months of the cheque being issued, we can still issue a replacement. However, you must contact staff at the union office within 13 months of the cheque being issued, or we will be unable to replace it.
